    The main difference between Down and Down Alternative is the filling inside of the comforter. Down comforters are filled with a material found on ducks and geese. Our Down Alternative fill contains 100% polyester.

    Yes, it is machine washable on a gentle cycle with cold water, tumble dry on low heat only. Do not bleach or iron.
